5.10 Communication with DTCA

5.10.1 Communication for an Application

 

5.10.1.1 Applicant sends Application Updates

 
To send Application updates to the DTCA, an Applicant must click on the "Notify DTCA About Updates" button, available in the "Actions" drop-down button of the "View Application Page" (see figure below).

This button allows an Applicant to notify the DTCA about updates if the status of the Application is "Registered", "Accepted" or "Non-favourable".
 
Note that the View Application Page will still present the initial version of the Application, and will not display those changes.
 

5.10.2 Communication for an Authorisation

 

5.10.2.1 Holder requests communication to DTCA

 
To initiate a communication with the DTCA, the Holder must click on the "Request for Communication to DTCA" button, available in the "Communication" drop-down button of the "View Authorisation Page" (see figure below).

This button allows the Holder to request a communication to the DTCA if the status of the Authorisation is "Pending", "Active" or "Suspended". If there is an ongoing process for the Authorisation, the Holder can indicate if the communication is linked to the ongoing process or not.
The Holder is notified of the DTCA's answer by receiving the "Provided Communication" notification. Note that several communication requests can take place at the same time.
 

5.10.2.2 DTCA requests communication to Holder

 
A Customs Officer of the DTCA can also initiate a communication with the Holder. The Holder is notified of the DTCA's request by receiving a "Request for Communication" notification.
It is indicated in the notification if the communication is linked to an ongoing process or not.
To answer to the request, the Holder must click on the "Provide Request Answer" button. Note that several communication requests can take place at the same time.
